prepare for a trip
When visiting somewhere for the first time, I'll ask friends or search tips online or on Instagram. When I'm on cultural trips, I mostly do my own research and try to organise studio visits with artists. When travelling with family, which are more casual & relaxed, we mostly work with a travel agent in Belgium.

shop for women's fashion
Difficult. I travel a lot, so either I buy clothes online at Matches or on the Outnet, or I'll do local shopping wherever I am and find unique pieces.

bar
In Notting Hill, where I live, I like the Ladbroke Arms for day drinking. Other bars in London: Mr. Fogg's in Mayfair, Soho House Greek Street, the Anglesea Arms in South Ken, Bluebird or Farmer's Market in Chelsea and Coco Momo and Bok Bar in Marylebone.

place to go with friends
NAC in Mayfair.

restaurant
I really like South American food. It's fresh & spicy. Peruvian would be my favourite - Andina, Chicama & Pachamama - or fusion of Peruvian & Japanese like Coya. I also love Palomar, an Israeli spot in Soho, & Mazi, which is Greek in Notting Hill. I also love Korean food, but you really have to go to South Korea to experience the best.

workout
Yoga at The Life Centre, pilates at Body Works West or Bootcamp Pilates, full body reshape (a super intense full body workout that's a mix of cardio & weights) at Rebel1 & barre at Barrecore.

museum
This is very difficult. I think one of the best things I've seen so far is Dia Art Beacon in New York that houses contemporary artworks and installations from the 1960s until now. Think Ryman, Judd, Irwin, Lewitt, Walter de Maria... And the Beyeler Foundation, whose permanent collection & temporary shows are of great quality.

weekend brunch
Granger & Co.

business lunch
Cecconi's.

cinema
Electric Cinema.

place to live
Paris is very charming & the most beautiful city in the world. I was just there & realised how much I miss the little things like cheese & wine at a cute bar like La Palette. The quality of life is slightly better than London. But then again, the vibe & people in London are nicer.

city trip
New York City.

place to unwind
Barcelona.

girl's trip
Lisbon.

travel bag
Rimowa, both for check-in and hand luggage.

travel outfit
Casual clothes, mostly black pants & a white t-shirt or shirt with cardigan or a light jacket.

travel essentials
Pleats Please by Issey Miyake in all colours & forms. It is just super practical, as it doesn't crease, it barely takes up space & you can wear it day & night.

next trip
Italy.

travel bucket list
1. Japan, as I'm a big fan of the food, art & architecture.
2. Art Road Trip California to see all the instutions, foundations & permanent installations in desserts like Walter de Maria's electric fields & Elmgreen & Dragset's Prada Marfa Installation.
3. Backpacking in South America.
