Ah, love. It's such a beautiful thing. & one of the most fantastic times to celebrate a beautiful love story is your honeymoon. So many people focus on the wedding. It's the big day, after all. All of your friends & family are there to watch you vow to love another person for the rest of your life.
But, while we love a good wedding as much as the next person, at gloobles, we're all about the honeymoon. It's the best excuse for an incredible vacation, don't you think? & there's nothing we love more than a good trip. Because it can feel wildly overwhelming to settle on the right destination for the right time of year, we thought we'd create a little calendar, a little cheat sheet for honeymoons. That way, you know when to go where & the best places to stay once you get there. We only wish we could come with you!
Where to go: Trancoso in Brazil. It’s possible that Trancoso is one of the strangest & most singularly stunning places in Brazil. Just two hours north of Rio by plane, this place will get under your skin. Something in the warm, fragrant air will make your shoulders drop & your heart rate slow.
Where to stay: Uxua Casa Hotel & Spa. This sustainable boutique retreat is located on the town's square (they say the most beautiful square in Brazil). It has an amazing hidden tropical garden with a swimming pool covered in mineral stone. Each of the casas is uniquely decorated, & their stunning beach club & bar Uxua Praia Bar is the perfect place to settle in with a cocktail to watch the sunset.

Where to stay: Marataba Safari Lodge or Trails Lodge. This striking resort is nestled in the heart of South Africa & gives you unparalleled viewing access to the amazing Big Five. We also love staying at Babylonstoren in Franschoek or Ellerman House in Cape Town.
